MENTAL HEALTH DIAGNOSIS & MEDICAITON MANAGEMENT 

My name is Abbey Stone, originally from Tennessee, I have been in Colorado since 2011. I graduated from Nursing school in 2010 and worked in cardiovascular intensive care until I finally made the leap to pursue my passion for mental health. I graduated from Regis University in 2023 and have since enjoyed working as a PMHNP with individuals via telehealth as well as in-person. My love for Psychiatry and Mental wellness has grown from my own lifelong journey of self-exploration and I applaud the bravery and vulnerability that it takes to begin the process of looking inward. 

I believe in customizing care for each individual as we are all so unique in our experiences, beliefs, genetics and a host of other factors that can influence how we respond to treatment. I offer traditional medication management, Ketamine assisted therapy as well as Integrative Psychiatry. We will talk about nutrition, movement, the quality of our breath, dietary supplements, the relationships that we have with others as well as with ourselves.  My practice is characterized by authenticity, genuine curiosity, and warmth. I work most often with symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD and trauma but welcome the challenge to work with a variety of diagnoses as I have found that mental illness is rarely black & white and my patients are often my greatest teachers.  

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sons and two dogs. I love being outdoors, seeing live music, comedy, hiking, camping, traveling, dancing and connecting. I also love to sleep.
